Dennis' Weekly Advice
Focus
I just finished reading "Master Your Focus" by Thibaut Meurisse ©2019 This is a great read to help you focus in this digital world.
Thibaut made a list "Ten Simple Steps To Overcome Procrastination"
Step 1. Understand what's behind procrastination
Step 2. Identify your story
Step 3. Rewrite your story
Step 4. Identify all the ways you distract yourself
Step 5. Clarify your "why"
Step 6. Start small
Step 7. Create daily habits to support you
Step 8. Prepare your environment
Step 9. Set small milestones and celebrate your small wins
Step 10. Just get started
Now of course Thibaut went into detail on each step but you still get the main idea from this basic list. If you noticed my quote of the week from Walt Disney went along with step 10. This a really great read on focus!

Weekly Traffic Training
YouTube
Let's get into YouTube traffic and cover some of the basics:
You need to post as many times as you can. It's a mixed bag on how many times you should post. Some people say once a week is enough as long as it's a really good quality video. Otherwise three times a week, or every single day is better. Keep a regular schedule.
You get more views if posted at 4pm or 11am.
Just make sure the content is good. Look at what other people are doing and make yours similar. Make yours similar, but put your spin on it and make it individual to you.
Keep to one niche, per channel.
Keep videos that you do simple. They are not Steven Spielberg quality videos, they're all done on screencast or webcam. Just keep it simple, and don't complicate it.
The thing is just get them out. Get that content out.
Do a hook to get your viewers to watch your video. Do a hook in your first few seconds. Do your 10, 15, or 20 second hook to get people hooked on your video and watch it. Again, a lot of people put an intro in. If it's 20 seconds long it's too long, because people are sitting at home alone in the current climate we're in... they just want to watch videos. They don't want to watch a 22 second intro of me talking about me. Just open it up. This is what it's about, the hook.
Thumbnails are really important. Get your thumbnails right. That is why you need to spend a lot of time on thumbnails. Look at what other people are doing on Google. That will give you ideas. You can have the same one, keep it similar to make it your brand. Stick with a particular style.
Where's the best place to get your inspiration from. Look at other people's videos. Look at their videos and see what they're doing, write it down, and then just duplicate what they're doing and make it your own. You can never run out of content, ever.
Keep on it, and you will make this a success. YouTube can never be oversaturated. There are billions of views a month on it. You need to get a part of it. It's not an overnight success, it's a long term business
Just take action. Get out there and get it done... you can do it, I promise you.
I love YouTube... Everyone loves YouTube. Everyone loves you too, so please take action, and get on with it.
This Weeks Education
Keyword Research
What's the difference between short and long tail keywords and what is SEO?
SEO - Search Engine Optimization.... Optimized videos or web pages... so when someone makes a search on Google or YouTube (others too, such as Bing) your video or website page shows up on the first page... that's what you want.
Short tail keywords are one or two words. Long tail keywords are three or more words. Example: short tail keyword... "printer"; long tail keyword... "best printer for printing pictures." This makes them more specific and often less competitive than short tail keywords. People that are searching with long tail keywords are usually further along the buying process
Put simply, it is the process we use to help people find our content, in this case your videos on YouTube. We got to remember that YouTube is a search engine. YouTube is just as big database of information, and people come there because they're looking for a specific piece of information. And when you apply SEO to your videos, it helps you rank on the first page of YouTube so that people find your video first and buy through you,
It's very, very simple. Far simpler than most people make it, and you're going to realize that when you start.
Well, a keyword is basically words and phrases that searchers enter into YouTube when they're looking for something. This is also known as a search query. And you can use keywords in your video SEO, to help the right people find any of your videos, which are relevant to them. This is the basis of how you drive traffic and get leads and sales from YouTube.
We're not interested in freebie seekers... we're not interested in curious Joes... we're interested in people who are very far along the buying process and ready to pull the trigger and buy our products. Now most of the time, long tail keywords are easy to rank for because they're also less competitive. This means we can rank for them faster and easier, while still getting enough traffic to make lots of sales.

Dennis' Tip
Ok so you want to know about your facebook profile backup. If your business depends on Facebook, do this now. It's good to backup your profile even if you don't do business.
If you have never done one, make sure to do it ASAP! Facebook owns the data on your profile....you don't. If they say your account is disabled, it's disabled.
And if your business relies on it, it can be gone in an instant.
That's why you need to do a backup of all your data.
Out of the blue.
No notice, no reasons why, nothing.
All the posts...
All the pictures...
All the messages...
Gone.
This is the harsh reality.
Backing up your profile and data is easy to do.
Here is how:
1. Click the triangle in the top right corner of the Facebook screen.
2. Select Settings from the menu.
3. Click or press Your Facebook Information.
4. Go to Download Your Information and click View.
5. Select All of my data or pick one of the other options available to you.
6. Choose HTML in the drop-down menu, and then select High, Medium, or Low media quality. High is probably the best choice for most. This will get you all those shared photos and videos back to you in the highest possible quality.
7. You can pick and choose the various types of Facebook data via checkboxes, but it's probably best to check them all.
8. Click or press Create File to confirm the download request.
9. Be ready to wait, especially if you've been on Facebook for a long time.
10. When the file is ready, Facebook will send you a notice. Follow the instructions to download the copy of your Facebook data.
Well I barely touched the surface of all the topics we'll learn together. Any questions or comments please leave them. We are here to help each other. I'm your brother and want to welcome you to our family. As we build as a group I will run some surveys to find out where the majority want to learn.
Have a blessed day and see you next week, Dennis
